Sterling Virtuoso	I have decided to sell my Sterling Virtuoso. It is nearly 2 years old and is the heavy red brass 300mm bell version- Most of the top players seem to go for this bell to get that big dark sound without going muddy sounding. I personally went to see Paul Riggett to choose this euph from his stock at the factory before it was silver plated, so I know it is as good as they come. It has a tuning trigger and an Amado water key on the 2nd valve slide. (I believe all euphs should have these so you have the option to dump water quickly or take the slide out to empty it). In my opinion it is better than a new one as I have broken it in and it is in very good condition. I even usually use a different hard case to save any wear on the original! The valves are exceptionally good, and as you would expect from a 300mm Heavy red brass version it is very powerful with a large dark sound. Why am I selling it? I have decided to buck against the modern way of thinking, of having as darker sound as possible, and go back to my old 1980's round stamp for a lighter sound. By the way this decision has not been taken lightly, I have played nearly every ‘pro’ euph available. I even traded a York Eminence to get the Sterling – that says how good this Sterling is!!
