Luis Rossi 'English model' pair. Beautiful pair of wide bore Rossi clarinets, African Blackwood, made in 2000 (serial numbers E430/E431). Based on prewar 1010s and ideal for those who follow the English clarinet tradition. Current owner is a professional player who has played this pair in top UK orchestras including the Philharmonia. Flexible, clear, full-bodied and resonant. Includes Rossi throat B flat booster mechanism and extra vent for G/D. Sold with 4 barrels and 2 wide bore mouthpieces (a Rossi and a fabulous Peter Eaton A type). Great condition. New pair retails at GBP 10,710 in the UK. |
