| French | Full size violin with one-piece back, French, built possibly around 1925, by Nicolas Aldric, Père. The inside label reads : "modele de Rue de la Gare, No. 71
Nicolas Aldric, Père. B.S. Luthier à Nantes. an" The violin was recently serviced, and has a new bridge, pegs and chin rest. It is undamaged and shows the usual signs of wear for its age - mainly the varnish has scraped off around some of the edges, particularly on the bowing side. I rescued this violon from a charity shop and am selling it because I already have my own two violins. It would make an ideal learner violin with an inspiring sound.
