It is highly unlikely that this is the real maker but it is probably of German origin and hand crafted around 1880-1900. This violin is an unusal looking instrument but has a lovely sound quality and is looking for a good home to go to. This can be played exactly the same as any other full size violin, the only difference being that it is cornerless and the f holes are a different shape.
