| Engelbert Shmid full double | A very nice horn, particularly light and outstandingly easy to play. Changeable F/Bb to Bb/F and can be shortened or extended to play E F# A and B. Comes with two bells: medium(very nice, centred sound useful in chamber music especially in high register), and wide one suited more towards performing in larger ensembles. Instrument is very light, just 2150g so it needs to be handled with care. As you can see on the photos it has some dents and scratches as well as signs of field repairs on second valve. Despite this all mechanical parts are working very well. Comes with hard case. Selling due to career change. | £4500 |

It has a 1cm dint on the rim (see photo) which is barely noticeable and does not affect playing. All valves move well with good compression and the slides all move. This instrument was played for approximately 4 years within the county youth orchestra and university orchestra and was then put away in a cupboard in 1996.
